Unraveling My Journey, One Stitch at a Time
Emily Jackson
Biography
I first picked up a crochet hook when I was about ten years old, drawn to the joy of turning yarn into something cute and handmade. Back then, I loved making little random things just for fun, just because I could. Crochet was a cozy hobby I’d return to on and off over the years, something that always felt like home.
Everything changed after I had my first son. I wanted to make him sweet little stuffies and soft keepsakes and that desire completely reignited my love for the craft. From that moment on, I couldn’t put my hook down. Crochet became more than just a hobby it became a passion.
Now, as a mom of two, my inspiration has only grown. I find so much joy in designing my own patterns, taking the ideas in my head and turning them into something real something others can bring to life with their own hands. Watching people make my designs fills my heart more than I ever expected. It’s such a beautiful way to connect through creativity.
I also love doing markets and sharing my makes in person. There’s nothing quite like seeing someone’s face light up when they find something that speaks to them. That moment of joy, that little spark is what keeps me creating. Crochet is a part of who I am, and I’m so grateful for the journey it continues to take me on.
